MAD PROFESSOR F.A.Q.

Who are you, and what does Mad Professor have to do with Boing Boing?

My name is Mark Frauenfelder. I started Boing Boing with my wife, Carla Sinclair, as a print zine in 1988. In 1995, we took Boing Boing online, and on Friday, January 21st, 2000 we relaunched Boing Boing as a blog. A while later, I invited my friends, David Pescovitz, Cory Doctorow, and Xeni Jardin to be co-editors of Boing Boing.

What is Mad Professor?

This website started out as a promotional site for my bizarre science experiment book, Mad Professor. Now it's my media review blog. Many of the things I review here are linked to my Amazon Associates program, so if you buy something I review, I will get a small commission. This money will help pay for the hosting fees for madprofessor.net

Mad Professor is my own site. For now, I'm the only contributor.

May I send you my book / CD / DVD / game / video / comic / thing to review?

Send it to:

Mark Frauenfelder
13547 Ventura Blvd #415
Sherman Oaks CA 91423

Please note that I can't return anything you send me. Also, I can't promise that I'll review it.

How can I get in touch with you?

My email is mark@boingboing.net.
